Thanks for the new place where I can go and dream and drool! Then cry cuz I'm always so flat busted and anyway the girl sez NO MORE GEAR 'til I start clearing out some of the stuff out in the garage which is impossible cuz bass players NEVER throw anything out. But thanx!!

Happened to me with a MM Ray... a white one w/matching headstock; white pearloid pick-guard. I had credit card in hand when I called... but no more axe!!! :scowl: They lost an easy sale that day.
Oh well... I still might do some bid'ness with them in the not too distant future...

My brother Tony has had extensive dealings with Beaver and the gang, more than I have and they are by far the best. I have been there at the store, jammed with them (ask grasshopper when he is going to play a 5 again) and they are first class. Period
Bass Central is the best store on the planet. I have bought two amps from them and the service you get there is top notch. The guys that work there are very knowledgeable and able to help you out with any question that you may have. Another this is that Beaver is a great and very talented bassist and bass instructor. I am proud to say that I am a former student of Beaver's and I have seen many people try and teach bass but none come close to the instruction that Beaver provides. I do not understand why anyone that wants a bass would go anywhere else. Pure and simple Bass Central Rocks!!!

I've had only Great expeirences with them so far. I got my Warwick thumb 5 from them, and my Aguilar DB750. Great customer service and some of the best prices around. Best if you haggle shipping into the price also.

Gard was extremely helpful when I bought my Lakland 55-02 this past January. He was very responsive to my emails and phone calls before I finally decided on a model, and gave me a good price. I don't know that I'll be buying any gear in the short-term, but when I'm ready again I'd certainly give them a call.

I got a Lakland 55-01 from them last week . First class service , helpful folks .
As previously stated , they do not update their website often enough , especially the used section .
They don't seem to carry much in the lower end / affordable basses .
Great people , I will shop there again .

They treat you like you are a superstar even if you're young kid coming in with Mom. I've seen it. Luckily for me, I live 2 hours away and visit Orlando for business about 3-4 times a year. I always get a big hello from everyone when ever I enter the store. If I buy new... well, you've read it before.

The gear was in storage or at Beavers house.
I was kinda disappointed that I wouldn't get to try anything out.
Beaver made an amazing offer. He asked what I wanted to try, and said "come by my house tomorrow, I'll get the gear from storage"
So the next day I met Beaver and Grasshopper at Beavers house and got to play, Modulus, Fodera, Lakland, Musicman etc
Simply outstanding service and the nicest guys ever

I've bought three MusicMan basses, a couple of G-K heads, and quite a few sets of strings from Bass Central. They're really great to work with. For example, one of my G-K heads had a problem on it's first gig on a Friday night. I called Beaver in a panic the next day. G-K got in touch with me on the following Monday morning, and they had a replacement head shipped to me from their factory, which I received by that Wednesday. (Kudos to G-K for their support too.)
Beaver has always cut me great deals on all the things I've purchased.

I bought my Lakland 55-01D from Bass Central over a year ago. They didnt have the exact finish I wanted, in stock... so they just had Lakland ship it directly to me! WOW!
