Bass Forward Tunes

I just realized that I had forgotten about this sadly all-too-brief instrumental from the band Family. Appearing on their 1971 album FEARLESS, it was composed by multi-instrumentalist John "Poli" Palmer, heard here on vibes, with the late, great John Wetton propelling the band forward on bass.

I guess what I meant by bass forward is the bass being a big part of the of the structure of the music and not just a low end supporting instrument. I don't know....I'm a fairly new musician having just picked up the bass 4 years ago and still learning theory, terminology, etc. That bass tone glossary has been helpful. Any here's another from me. And if it seems my contributions are from the 60's and 70's, it's because I was born in 1962.....And again-thanks for all the contributions here.

I think Cetera is underated/mentioned as a great bass player, but I love playing his early Chicago (Kath days) stuff. I've finally got that high on the neck intro on Saturday in the Park to a point that I can just about nail it. Thanks.
