One of the bigger radio stations in Philadelphia has always been the “oldies” station. They started out playing songs from the 50s. I remember that it was noticeable when they started playing songs from the 60s. But now I drive around and see their billboards and they’ve been advertising songs from the 90s for a while now.

I guess it won’t be long before they start playing the likes of Lizzo and Harry Styles. :(

The song Jessie's Girl is now 41 years old. Now, it is an oldie. When it came out in 1981 and you went back 41 years, it was 1940.

Yeah, that is a hard one take in.
Considering some of the top artists of 1940 were Bing Crosby, Artie Shaw and Glenn Miller. I had sit for a minute with that perspective. :nailbiting:
