I have to say - I love it when someone uncovers an older thread like this one. What a beautiful collection of instruments and photography.
A nice way to spend the last 1/2 hour or so looking at all of this wonder.

And Nolly, no fair. ANY shot of your Dingwall is going to be brilliant as well.
Really digging the thoughtful artful shots in the thread that emphasize creativity with the photographic process as well as the ones that catch lightning in a bottle with dramatic lighting or something unusual, that sort of thing.
Bog-standard shots with no creative thought to presentation or photography are best left to the "show your brand/colour/relic/nationalist/mod/stock/ugly/coffee-table/plain/weird/ bass threads, IMO.

Yes, kinda. The red Jazz has an Am Std Body, SeymourDuncan P/J pickups and an AllParts neck w/ a spaguetti decal. In the hoppus I just swapped bridge and the neck for an American Std one, and of course, the re-finish in orange

Hey TB'ers
I have posted some photos of my collection in various places, so many of you have seen them. In case you haven't and would like to, I am posting a link and a sample here of the work of photographer, John Hornberger.
My best friend from High School studied photography in school but only does it as fine art. He came out to New York last august from Fort Wayne, Indiana and photographed my basses, soon to be 15, but 13 at the time. I sent him over to my good friends at Sweetwater and they were gracious enough to show him around their photo booth - and he definitely picked up a few tips.
It was quite a process, having a custom welded guitar stand made, building a PVC photo booth, taping plastic on all the windows. All sorts of lighting and light boxes had to be set up perfectly - along with other equipment which he brought along. We started in on sunday morning and didn't take the first trial shots until 4PM on monday.
Here is one of the shots:
