A shot I took of a couple of my vintage Musicman pieces (1979 pre-Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray and a 1980 Musicman HD150 amp)...

wanted it to look rustic and to keep that vintage feel vs all cleaned up and shiny.

Tools of the trade. Flat-wounds and Rounds. To me, A G &L SB-1 bass is to a Precision bass what a Sterling bass is to a Stingray. IMHO
