I am new to the site just today but wanted to post a pic of
a couple of my basses, not as pretty as some i have seen but
as you can tell from the wear marks i abuse them quite a bit:P
The alembic is my main player due to the G&L needeing a new
volume pot. If you look closley the G&L was modified.
It is sporting alembic pickups. (One of the reasons I bought it
15 years ago) There are no toggles. The pickups have individual volume controls. Both are early 80 models.
The G&L is an 83 and the Alembic is an 82.

This thread has just made me wanna start taking photos again. Im sure ill get some more this weekend to put up.

Thanks bass collector. I was a little disturbed to see my mrs leaving it on the wall like that. lucky it made an alright photo haha

Just stay clear of carpets and sofas!:D
