This is not to start a war, and is no way saying anything bad about BP mag. (I'm a subscriber myself)
However you cannot (well should not) trust most mag reviews. Advertising plays a large part of the ratings and the equipment that mags review. This is a bit off subject but also relates. I have a friend that works for a major dirt bike mag (read that line again slowly and you should be able to figure out which one). When the reviews came out I was a bit suprised that they gave all bikes good ratings (overall) with some that suprised me to be better. When I asked him about this, he said that most mags (I said most, not all) won't come right out and say yeah this one is junk, because they don't want to lose a possible customer for advertising profits. He also said that the companies that do the most advertising with them will get the best reviews regardless.
Just something to think about when reading reviews/ratings. Trust YOUR ears, not someone else's.
I know that you can't hear everything, so it is nice to be able to pick up a mag and compare, but its not always accurate either.
