Bass purchases for 2011

Hardware for my 2010 Fender Jazz deluxe I'm assembling. I've got the neck and the body, and the rest of the hardware I want to be authentic Fender is on the way.

Pickups, too. I'll need some pickups.

Maybe later in the year I'll buy myself a 'build it yourself' bass kit.

Oh yeah, Mass Effect 3.

I'm considering selling my Tribute L-2000 and picking up an older L-1000 or L-2000. Figuring I can probably get about $400 for the Tribute and the American made ones can be had for under $1000. No pressing need at this time however. I also just ordered a bunch of learning tools from Carol Kaye.

I told my wife last night that I had already decided this. I want a Musicman Bongo HH. Just haven't decided yet if I want to go 4 or 5 string. Then I have to decide if Iwant fretted or fretless. I need an amp first anyway since all I have is a practice rig right now, but, that's another thread!

I don't have any needs, but I do have a want. I've had & sold 4 Roscoes (2 LG3005, 1 SKB 3005, 1 SKB 3006). I want to own another Roscoe just because of the visceral beauty. Sadly down from 2 to no gigging bands and retired 31 October so no way to rationalize.

So I'll have to sell some things to finance one. Probably the Jack Cassidy, Les Paul 5, and the Mesa 400+ (or trade & sell). I know this isn't the best time to sell, but I can be patient.
