Yeah if that’s the case better to stay on top of it and be the source of the info and do some damage control as opposed to letting the forums populate with threads like this ultimately doing damage to what e is left of your reputationThey probably started off with the best intentions but publishing is rough, especially for a niche print mag. Even Doll House Victorian is a quarterly. I couldn't imagine what the market is like now and because of that lots of paid placement just to stay alive (ugh, talk about diminishing returns and devil deals). Sucks that they aren't putting out the print edition regularly or at the very least letting their subscribers know what the deal is (we moved to quarterly, stopped printing, etc.).
Fair Point! OTOH it's been years since I've fondled the NYT in newsprint.Yeah, no. If I can’t hold in my hands, it’s not a magazine
I canceled my subscription as well a while ago. Calling it more fluff than content might be giving it more credit than it deserves but I agree 100% with you.It is a real thing. I have been receiving the printed magazine for close to a year. For the U.S, it's $9.99 (USD) a month.
Honestly, I am going to terminate my subscription. I'm all about supporting printed publishing, but this magazine is more fluff, than content. The printed magazine is top quality. heavy paper, gloss pics, etc... But, the content is all about those companies that are paying for advertising.
IMHO.
Curious how you canceled? I can't find anywhere to manage the subscription.I canceled my subscription as well a while ago. Calling it more fluff than content might be giving it more credit than it deserves but I agree 100% with you.

Scroll down to Automated Payments, click there. go down the Active List until you see "CITEQ Ltd". Scroll down until you see Remove Paypal as payment.
Click on remove.
I believe that this correct. They don't make it easy. Lol.
I did the PayPal thing that was mentioned in the post following yours but I ended up emailing this guy, I believe it was somewhere in the invoice, [email protected] and he confirmed the cancellation.Curious how you canceled? I can't find anywhere to manage the subscription.
Thanks. I will try that email.I did the PayPal thing that was mentioned in the post following yours but I ended up emailing this guy, I believe it was somewhere in the invoice, [email protected] and he confirmed the cancellation.

Archeologists unearth 'ethics", buried deep in BS, using explosives and strip-mining equipment. The crystallised layers of skewed representation and and giddy cheerleading requiring technology only available in the pre-apocalyptic years will pose significant challenges. Both scientists (wife/husband team) have high hopes for the novel artifact and are actively seeking capital to take the project to the next level. Peddlersi don't think ethics has been taught in about 250 years
At $9.99 a month I would stay the course and try to help support a small business despite all the troubles if there was communication or attempts to inform the paying customer what is happening. To continue to take subscriptions and people’s money is in bad faith. It's not a scam...
The mag exists, or at least did...
I subscribed from the start and received the first 11 issues.... (and the offer strings... eventually)
Then it seemed to go a bit awol....
I spoke to Dan in person at the recent Bass show in Birmingham with my concerns and he did say he had distribution problems, and would send my missing issues 12 & 13....
I waited.... and waited some more.
So I then decided to cancel my subscription before my next payment....
Further contact with Dan was that he would refund my Feb & Mar subs but send the missing issues. As a goodwill gesture I feel....
I did receive the refunded subs and issue 13 did arrive. No sign of issue 12 though....
I think it's a shame cos I like the mag and Dan does seem a nice guy, but it would seem he's 'up against it' with a minority interest mag...
I suspect he has lost advertising revenue due to the problems and I hope he manages to sort stuff out ...
It’s been described as fluff or less than fluff.OK, it's not a scam but an unknown to me. How does (did?) the content stack-up against other product-critical resources?
