Bass stuff you won't own....

SWR's "Workingman" bottoms

workingman?? c'mon! sounds so cheesy.

I keep thinkin of Merle Haggard's "Working Man Blues" lol

It's a big job just gettin' by with nine kids and a wife
I been a workin' man dang near all my life
I'll be working long as my two hands are fit to use
I'll drink my beer in a tavern,
Sing a little bit of these working man blues

YeeeeHAWWWWWWW!!!!!!

Ever see the South Park episode when Mr. Mackey ("m'kay?") invented the self powered vehicle that consumed no gas, but required you to insert this thing in your posterior, and then put your mouth around this other thing to steer, and it turned out in the end that you actually didn't need the thing in your butt to make it work? That's what that lower horn reminds me of, one of those "things."

Can we call that the Mackey Self-Propelled Bass?

i think youre thinking of mr. garrison...

sorry, im obsessive over south park ;)

Um... this thread was supposed to be about gear you would shun because you somehow dislike the NAME , not because of any other consideration. Maybe the OP should have put that right in the title.

Maybe Warwick because pretty much anyone mispronounces the name over here. :D

I sometimes wonder if the guys who came up with the name know the right pronunciation.

Is the name German? Is the w pronounced like a v?

Crate amps: they forgot the low-end ouput in all their bass and guitar amps.

Fender basses: I simply HATE the headstock.

I'm sorry, I didn't notice.

Didn't Albert Cummings do a cover of that song? It's a pretty good groove, I guess.

Gibson Ripper.... Quick ... someone pull my finger! :D

Gibson Grabber... considering what the bass is next to... this could be a problem.

Seriously though. Bongo.. worst name for a bass EVER!. I almost like the bass, but man, I'd have a tough time looking at that on the headstock every day.
