Looks like we get new opening and ending songs for the second half of season 2. I'm sure somebody's already playing covers of them.
"Don't say lazy" is still my favorite song from the entire series, though. If only one of my bands had a singer who knew Japanese...

"Don't Say Lazy" is great but my favorite is "Listen" (2nd season ending).
"Go! Go! Maniac" is cool too.

I can agree with both Mio and Gene on that. I don't want to stand out sonically; I do want to stand out visually!
Well, I've succeeded in talking one of my singers into trying to cover this one. Because we're not a rock band, we're going to try playing it as a tango! I think that could work.

What always cracks me up is people raging about dudes in K-On doujinshi, makes me lol hard.
Wow. There was a Live concert featuring the voice actors of K-On! around new years of this year the was just released on DVD/Blu Ray in Japan.
What's really cool is for 2 songs (Fuwa Fuwa Time, and "Stapler") the actresses actually played their own instruments. They even taught Mio's voice actress to play bass left handed. On the other songs, they just sing or mime playing the instruments.
There were lots of mistakes in the playing, but, fantastic considering they aren't musicians.

I'm not sure if i've posted this before (i checked and couldn't find), but this is the best version of Don't say Lazy i've heard yet.

This is so wrong, the bass looks 34" and there are no Japanese left models with 32" not mentioning the fact Mio is tall (I'm tall as well, I love you Mio) and I don't believe she had any reason to take a 32"
Secondly there is the thing with Spiral bridge that appears only on the JB62-US models.
This is ****ed up.
