Basses w Cream Pups

I know.
About 38% of us were first attracted to bass because we
saw some smart looking cream DiMarzios .. . probably J's... back in the day.

Well decades later, a dream has come true. I'm sitting on a set of PAF DiMarzio P/j pups.

With black, seems like "aftermarket" ... in a good way.
Like a bass that is yours, and serves a purpose.

The red, a natural fit.. could have come that way.

Sunburst + cream - giving off the "legit", "old school", "got soul" vibe.

I've got sunburst, black, CAR (that i'm thinking of spraying vintage white for a Scott Devine relic job).. and purple SX bodies around.
Thx for the photos. Helps me get the vibe.

Even though they can be subtle, you just can't hide in the woods with cream pups.

I don't know how to post pictures but I have two basses with white pickups. I have a Fender Precision Elite 2 with two white P pickups and a MM Stingray fretted 5 H with a white pickup.
