Prince. Yes he plays bass. Listen to the early albums where hew played all instruments.
Raphael Saddiq. He WAS the sound of Tony Toni Tone

How could I have forgotten Prince?!! Dude is sick on the bass!I havent seen anyone put Matt Sharp from weezer. just check out the faucetto stuff on the blue album and pinkterton he did. it rocks..
Sting has an awesome voice but his basslines aren't really that hard.
I can't stand both singers in Blink. ( I don't mind their music and lyrics though. I heard a band cover two of their older songs and it wasn't half bad)
Les Claypool has a voice that fits his music perfectly. Sam Rivers, the bassist from Limp Bizkit sings back up when they play live like during double vocal parts ( like the end of Rearranged) and I think it sounds much better than the normal cd verson with Durst singing both parts.
