BC Rich MEGATHREAD

Hey guys.

I have finally gotten all my BCR's in one place to take a family picture. I have never been able to do this either because i have had new ones on their way or in repair (Mostly the latter as i have had problems of some description with every one of them! )

So without further ado, My family :)

I love my BCR's :)

Rob.

This is my 80s B.C. Rich NJ series warlock. It was given to me by a friend, and it needs a ton of work. New Tuners, New nut, Inlays need to be re-done, may need some fret work, new bridge, pickups, electronics, strap buttons. Essentially, all I have is a body, a neck, and a DiMarzio split P pickup that I bought for it.

I have tuners, p up, nut, and a bridge from my U series Warlock. PM me if you would like them.

As I watched Spinal Tap last weekend, I was looking at the pickup placement on Derek (Harry's) Small's Richs, and the split pickup pockets are backwards to the regular USA made richs. I own an NJ neck thru, as well as 2 usa mocks. The nj's pockets are opposite of the USA mades. I wonder if those rich bass were all nj's. Cos they sure don't appear to be USAs.

Also, the black mock was short a knob from the classic USA config.

Additionally, the inlays on the eagle were dots, not diamonds.

I don't understand the double neck bich bass having exactly the same setup on both necks. It does look cool tho.

:) Me too

I've never needed another bass. I got this, and I was like...well, got that bass thing covered

I told my wife to either bury me with it, or burn it with me, but we're goin' out together :P

I'm really not big on the crazy shaped BC Riches, but the Wave and Eagle look very nice to me. Just conventional enough to be classy, just weird enough to be cool and "different"... :) I got a Wave gui*ar with a quilted maple top, but I've wanted a Wave bass for years and years...never found one for sale that was in my price range or appealing to me (the blue glitter sparkle or white with black spiderweb pattern is just a little over the top for me). Figures...the one BC Rich I *really* like, and they take it out of production in favor of these freaky Zombie and Beast....things... Well, I'll keep saving pennies, and someday I'll either run across one I really like, or I'll get the custom shop to build me one. Or I'll make the flippin' thing myself... LOL
