Anyone here use these for practice? How would you rate them? I'm looking for some new, better headphones. Right now I'm using Marshall Majors.

Beats By Dre for Practice?

I rate them at or near the bottom. The bass response is so over the top with these that they're only good with cell phones or other cheap digital players. If you're looking to spend over $100.00 there are lots of choices out there that deliver a flatter response and like a lot of gear lately the entry level price for a good set is pretty reasonable. However, they are comfortable which is important and if you're practicing bass they'll deliver that in spades.
Try before you buy. Depending on the output level of your playback device or amp they might be noisy due to the active circuit inside.

If you want to blow some dosh on headphones Klipsch are the shiznit IMHO.

basically ANY headphone in the same price range is better.
They're made in China & you can get them for next to nothing in Bangkok.
I wouldn't touch Beats with a ten foot... cable.
Audio Technica ATH-M50x are a great set for playing an instrument through. Nice flat response, very comfortable, comes with an 1/8" to 1/4" adapter and a 3 interchangable cord lengths. About 1/2 the price of Beats and way more useful for musical applications. If you buy Beats, you're going to have a hard time eq-ing out all of the excessive bass... You essentially pay a huge premium to cover the Beats marketing gurus, who are really doing a great job selling lots of garbage headphones.

If you want some mediocre headphones with a rapper's name attached there is nothing better. If you want good headphones they don't compare with anything in their price range.
Way overpriced and over-hyped. You can get a ton of good headphones for a quarter of the cost. I use some Beyerdynamic DT235's and like them because I can hear what is going on outside and they have a decent sound.
Overpriced, overhyped bass, and they actually just puts little bits into them to give them a weighty, "quality" feel. Boo.

I have the Bose Sound True around the ear headphones (in that price range) and I think they're a step above the Beats, not to mention a bit more portable IMO. Although if you're looking more boutique, I'm sure there's a store you can try out a vast array of headphones
Beats are fine, your just practicing not performing in a collisium to 300,000 fans...jeez some people gotta disect everything on here..
Sure they're "fine". but they're poor value for money.
Beats=Ripoff You can do much better in that price range, but they may not be neon green or whatever..
I picked up a pair in Afghanistan. The bass is so overpowering my eardrum is ready to blow up after awhile. Once I got in-ear monitors I started practicing with those, much clearer and more balanced sound.
My friend works for the headphone engineering department at Apple (who bought Beats by Dre) told me that the quality is improving and everything is being re-engineered.
