The Crown XLS itself is dead quiet, both in fan operating noise and in its very pristine signal treatment.
The V-AMP produces no more preamp noise than any other preamp I have encountered. I have never found it to be intolerable, even in a dead quiet room, but if it were, then I would simply use the V-AMP's built-in noise gate and that would kill 100% of any noise normally heard otherwise.
Hi all,
Last week I've purchased the behringer Inuke 3000 as power-amp. The build quality & performance ( lots of power! ) : No complaints ! , but ....
I am a little bit disappointed about the fan noise.
The fan is operating / rotating constantly. it gives really a lot of a constant noise ... the sound engineers will certainly not appreciate this ...
So I am considering to exchange the behringer Inuke 3000 for a Crown XLS 1500 ... Can anyone tell me what is the noise-level of a crown XLS cooling fan ? Is the crown cooling fan really "dead quiet" ? Is the fan just slowly rotating ?
Thanks for your opinion !
Cheers, Koos
