Behringer Bass V-AMP Pro - Part II: Get On Back, Jack, Do It Again...

I've read through both these threads V-Amp pro threads. Really interesting. I'm looking to hear about experiences with these features:

Envelope
Tuner
I play a 5ver and tracking can be iffy with some devices on the B string. Any informed experiences on any or all features are welcome.

i've had some issues with the tuner's tracking, but i got into the habit of using only my neck pickup (jazz bass), tone all the way down, and playing the 12th fret harmonic to tune.
this gets rid of overtones, and tunes up an octave, which seems easier for the tuner to track. i know it sounds like a lot of work, but now that it's a habit, it doesn't slow me down at all.

since I run mine true stereo, the sweeping stereo chorus L/R is kinda a cool effect I suppose but running it in mono would be worthless.
the ultrabass to me sucks, sounds as bad as my old Digitech.
the tuner? I have a korg DTR1000 which kills that built in tuner for quickness of finding the note and no 12th fret harmonic is necessary, but it does work.

I never had a need for the Ultrabass. I don't play the kind of music where it is appropriate.
The chorus sounds just fine. I was never one to use a lot of it, just subtle use.
The envelope is fun to play with, but again, I don't have a specific style of music where I need it.

Just scored one today for $20 because... well... it was $20. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet because I'm at work, but was looking around and found this thread. Already done a factory reset and whatnot. Looking forward to checking it out once I get home. I wonder if the guy had an issue with the battery and that's why he sold it so cheap. He SAID it works just fine, but I guess we'll see. Regardless, for $20 it's tough to go wrong, right? Right.
20 bucks? I would have done the same thing. Pull the cover off when you get it and check the battery anyway.
I just got a used V Amp Pro delivered to my door for $70. It's in good shape, has the right eprom, has been set to factory settings and has the first amp model set according to CharlieC's V-Amp Quick Start Guide.

I loved Charlie C's tips, and when I got my 2nd V-amp ( the guitar version ) although there are slight differences in programming/settings, I at least had the basic knowledge to get it setup without pulling my hair out.
G'day from downunder people. Does anyone know if the internals of the guitar and bass versions of the V-Amp Pro are the same (other than the eprom of course)?
The reason I ask is that the V-Amp Pro is no longer available, so I've had to settle for the bass version, but I would really like to have the full range of guitar modelling, as I won't be using it for bass at all.
