OK..challenge accepted! This is actually the end times for the fro. I had just gotten my hair cut right before this, my senior picture, was taken. It had been much more epic throughout much of high school. No perm either. Some of us eye-talians have naturally curly hair.

Its been about 6 years since I cut my long hair off. About 3 years ago I started sporting the opposite look, buzzing it all down to a 1. Now I still get people running their hands over it. THE MADNESS NEVER CEASES!!!!

This sounds like it's coming from someone who hasn't had a meticulously maintained, well-groomed, and well-cared for 'fro . Let me fix that statement for you:

When you put a lot of work into having your hair look a certain way, someone just putting their fingers in your hair without your explicit permission just isn't cool. No one has a right to touch your hair but you and your parents. I used to have a modest fro and yes, people wanted to touch it but I had rules when I didn't outright say no: Patting only. No poking, prodding, rubbing or otherwise intrusive or disruptive touching of the hair .

I thought Bieber looked a little smitten myself. like he was unprepared for how hot she is. You have to take into account his age too. If she had sat next to me when I was that age there is no telling how big of a fool I would have made of myself.

I agree. Although I am in my 50's now, I remember what it is like to be sixteen, and there is nothing hotter when you are that age than an "older woman." I can imagine what a thrill he must have felt sitting next to this extremely beautiful 26 year old woman.

As a 51 year old I would be afraid of what kind of fool I might make of myself sitting that close to Esperanza Spalding! I would not do anything inappropriate but I am sure I would feel flummoxed and probably say something stupid.
