Bergantino B/Amp at NAMM

It's the best setup I had for my Berg Ministack because of the parametric EQ. Jim suggested bumping 60 Hz with those cabs. It sounded great, but it was too much of a good thing for my ears. Always thought i should have had a distortion pedal in front. Same thing with that setup with my HD112's. Thus being able to push the gain on the Streamliner has been working well for my live setup.

Blend in a little OD from the B Amp, and it warms/dirties up very nicely. It's a very clean, clear amp without using the overdrive or distortions, but it's a totally different beast when using any one of those.

Yes. That's one plus for me for the Bamp. I was never a pedal person, mostly plug & play. It's not that I wouldn't use a distortion pedal, but it adds to my setup, tear down time. I use a Korg floor tuner & i see that could be eliminated with the Bamp.

Former Streamliner owner and current B|amp owner here. I can't imagine that you would be anything less than thrilled with a B|amp.

It is pretty cool that whenever you need it and call for it, the oomph is there. It reminds me of driving a great car. You can drive back and forth to the grocery store with it, but when you drop the accelerator, wow, it's all there under the hood.

Maybe this has already been answered... I know that the speaker profiles aren't supposed to make all cabs sound the same or flat but rather give "the best version of each cab's character", but I was wondering... wouldn't it be possible with the DSP to create a profile that gives an almost perfectly flat frequency response line? I was reading that other thread about the best full-range cab and I was thinking that it might be interesting if there was the choice of a DSP profile that gives each cab a monitor-like frequency response, for those who are searching for that.

Based on the variety of acoustical environments I've encountered over the years, I'm suggesting that producing a flat frequency response across multiple rooms might be difficult.
Then there's the question of flat response on stage or (if no FOH support) out in the audience.

I think the speaker profile gets really close to a monitor-like response. Of course each room/stage will effect your sound, but I love the profiles to smooth everything out as best as possible.

I'm wondering if a future update would allow to switch to memory three by pushing mem 1 & 2 buttons together? I have the foot switch, and it's is really cool, but in my bands rehearsal space would rather be able to switch via the panel. In a live setting, would be nice to have LEDs on the foot switch so you could tell which mem slot is active. I know there are nits, but the B|Amp is so versatile, just thought I'd mention it.

I am new to the Bergantino line, have the HDN 212 and 112 and loving it! Also impressed with Jim's responsiveness!
