Thanks Tom, I was hoping to have it zap into my podcast app so that I could listen to it while driving, but I will manage
I will talk to our IT guy and see if there is a way to do what you are asking, as I suspect you are not the only person who might want to do this.
It would mean it would just download automatically into my phone so that I can listen to bassy goodness in the car instead of news about the omnishambles that is Brexit.
Used the B|Amp into an (supplied backline) Ampeg 810E last night at a NYE festival. Sounded superb! Pics to come asap
Has anyone figured out how to reset the pedal? Mine has stopped working, probably I pushed a wrong button, but so far have it set back to mode 1 (assume that's right, but tried every mode as well), did the reset pairing, dongle in place, not working. Love the amp a cabinets, not feeling the foot switch yet.
Jim is a great guy and will walk you through the Re-pairing procedure. I confess that I neglected to write down the procedure when he walked me through it.
I've been able to use the pedal right at the amp while looking at the amp. I don't have the confidence to use it on the gig when standing at the microphone.

Things like technical specs, firmware version features/bug fixes, pedal info and reset/pairing procedures, usage tips and tricks, flash drive formatting procedures, know working flash drives for updating, etc. i hope this becomes a valuable resource and a convenient and fast way to work through issues without surfing through long threads and asking questions that have already been answered. Perhaps it will afford Jim more time to come up with cool new stuff for us!

Go to the website and navigate to the product page for the B|Amp. Download the current version of the manual. I believe the pairing procedure on pg 23 is what Jim walked me through.
I've been gigging with the pedal, but it's mounted to my pedalboard. It's been working great, but I do worry about its durability. It's become a very valuable tool for live use for me, so I hope it holds up long term.
I know it's a bit of apples to oranges but could someone contrast the B|amp with the Magellan MG800? The MG800 is solid with a great feature set but I prefer a 4-band eq and like the hpf, compressor, and many other extras the Berg offers.
I gigged with the MG800 for over 2 years, before making the switch to the B|Amp. I only did one gig using the same cab (MG212T) before switching to Berg cabs.
The biggest difference I noticed was that the B has even more clarity than the Genzler. What you put in, is what comes out (unless you start adding in the compression, etc) The MG, while a quite clear sounding head itself, does still have a bit of a baked in tone, to my ears, whereas the B Amp, set flat with no effects used, is very uncolored and clean/clear.
The 4 band EQ on the B|Amp is a thing of beauty, IMHO. Add in the compressor, distortions, HPF, and OD, and the head is honestly, again, IMHO, in a league of its own.
The MG800 is great, too, with the Contours, drive channel, etc. I gigged mine heavily for the 2 years I owned it, and was always happy with my sound on stage. But I'm even happier with my Bergantino rig. It's got the clarity on stage like I've never had before, and my band mates agree.
When I was researching the B before buying, one member that I talked to here said "if you like the sound of your basses, you'll love the B|Amp, because you're going to hear exactly how they sound". And I've found that to be very true.
This is so true and a big reason why I play all my active basses in passive mode... I just find I no longer need a preamp on the bass like I previously did with other amps...
Got to use the B|Amp thru the supplied SVT810 cab at the NYE festival we played. Jolly good too!
I'm finding the BAMP barefaced rig a little to clean for me at times. Has anybody tried running through a pre or something first to change the tone a bit?
