Bergantino NV158? ???

What's the deal with "dampening" and tube amps and this one? Is the dampening in the diver?? if so is this as good as the older NV's or the Sadowsky SA? Did you guys try it out with tube amps??

A well-designed sealed cab controls the movement of the cone(s) in a different way from other designs (for instance: ported), pretty sure that is where the term 'dampening' comes from.

tombowlus did a comparison between the NV115 and the NV215 earlier in this thread.
 
He would be missing out on a pretty large segment of the tube amp community (Ampeg users) by only offering an 8 ohm. I can't see the reverse baffle creating any issues, manufacturing wise.

I'm not so sure that the tube amp community normaly gravitates toward a Berg cabinet (other than myself anyway).
Offereing a boutique cabinet that will not have a huge sales presence would only raise the price per cabinet when options are included to the manufacturing process IMO.
