Bergantino NV158? ???

There are many different types of these carts. The problem is, they sometimes look very similar to each other in style, but differ in important areas like type of wheels, depth of the noseplate, etc. Just check out the variety at this site and you will know what I mean. http://www.handtrucksrus.com/index.aspx?src=Branded&gclid=CPmRgvXlz7gCFZFaMgodO1QAug

Lots of bassists use a Magna Cart (cute name): I think the popular one is good for 150 pounds, and has 5" wheels. The more expensive one I got has 7" wheels, and is rated for 275 pounds. I'm sure the Magna Cart would be enough for me, but I thought I'd go with a heavier-duty model, and the larger wheels gave me a smooth ride over an uneven brick sidewalk the other week.

I use a "no name" brand cart simular to the one pic'd above. It doesn't FEEL real strong, but is plenty for a non-neo 115 or my 2 AE112's.
I would like a slightly larger fold up one tho. This one is a li'l short- either you have to hunch over a li'l-, and/or its just big enough for the 2 112 cabs but that's it. If love one big enough to take 2 112's AND be able to have room for a bag/small crate on top. Mine's just a tad short for that

Sorry but I did try that. Odd that the word efficiency does not produce any results when I search this thread. I'm not really interested in published numbers which usually are not very meaningful. Real world comparisons would be nice if any users of both cabs would be so kind. Thanks.

Thanks Dave. For anyone who is interested, in post 372 Tom Bowlus wrote "The fEARful is really sensitive, too. One (8-ohm) 15/6 is closer to being as loud as two (8-ohm) NV115's than one NV115 is to a single 15/6."

I think I will snag one this week , I think it will be great with my streamliner 900 and my new old school all tube tube Jaguar 200 , seems like everyone is really liking these and I have had nothing but great experiences with Bergintino cabinets , just don't think I can go wrong .

I've been curious too, but time flies by at Jonathan's place, we never set up that comparison. I'm not sure when I'm heading out there next, but when I do, I'll definitely do the comparision.

Indeed! You're always welcome any time. I tweaked the 15/8 Vintage-HiFi crossover and finished the second cab, so another visit is in order!

Some of these comments make me think that the NV115 might be capable of a "Bigger B-15" sound i.e. capable of copping the B-15 at louder volumes. I'm talking about the early B-15 with the small box and funky baffle. It's kind of a sealed 15. I know the Berg has way more highs and lows but does it capture that round mid-low gut punch, quick response, and smooth mid/top?
