Best 2x15 setup you've found...preferably pair of 1x15's

the F115 sounds great with either the LMII or the bridged 700w PA amp that i favor! definitely getting another. been using it as a band rehearsal PA monitor. full range bliss with crystal clear vocals down to major bass & kick bump.

Not light, but a Peavey 215-d loaded with BW 1505-8 (the ones with the high xmax) should be fairly affordable and have a beast output.
I have played through these and they're great. I also have a custom cab loaded with eminence kappalite pros made by Mills Custom that is great.

Does anyone have an opinion on the best inexpensive 215 setup for us bass players on a budget? I would love to have a Fearful rig like Burning Skies has but I just can't afford it. Would like to meet the amount well under $1000.

Not well under, but if you buy used it would be. Traynor is renowned for its sturdy build and decent tone.
Given the choices from Traynor, buying new I'd get a couple of NEOs, it's only C$80 more for both and you shave off 42 lbs off the pair.

Traynor NEO15 (about C$555/US$422)

I definitely love a good 2x15 or pair of 1x15's! Fortunately, we have lots of great options. Here are some of my faves:

Bergantino NV115:

o.O

The Reeves 225 or 400 is definitely on my wish list - I can't imagine the depth you get with those and the Bergs. Have been eyeing the Orange 15s for a while... how would you compare their voicing to the NV115?

The NV115 is a bit more smooth and the OBC115 is a bit more growly, but they both have great depth, punch, and clarity, and they both love tube heads!
