Best CHORUS pedal for bass??/

...but you should have a look at some second hand websites, I often find some bargins on a UK based one I use

When Pete uses it, it's a Ka-Whore-us, though.

Its great for a subtle chorus that doesn't sound cheesy or over the top. Try one out if you see one in a music store. They go for $60-$80 used on eBay. New i want to say they are around $150.

I don't do traditional choruses either... Just don't dig the traditional watery warbley normal choruses. Detuners are my bag: I've got a Polytope on my main board and a Boss PS-5 on my second. The Tech21 Bass Boost Chorus is a great pedal too (does both regular and detune chorus), but the Polytope won out for me.

I thought he switched his chorus to a CEB-2 or whatever, the Bass Chorus.

Personally I used the Boss CEB but I don't really use it anymore. I swapped for a buddy's Digitech chorus pedal a while back and it was really nice for the two weeks I had it. It had a much more shimmery tone than the Boss.

Personally I've always used and love Behringer's BCH100 Bass Chorus. It has a good tone and even better it's good for the wallet and, in my opinion, it's comparable to the Boss bass chorus.

I've liked the RW stuff I've used, but I think the TC chorus would give you more bang for the buck.

I love my Medusa. A little noisy and the blend doesn't really have a sweet spot (i.e. good low end preservation without burying the effect) but it sounds unlike any other chorus I've ever heard.

I have my own blender that makes up for its shortcomings.

I'm using the TC Corona currently because my 20+ year old original TC Electronics SCF started developing some funky clicking sounds
The Corona comes close but if I had to do it over again, it'd be an Analogman Chorus w deep or an IE Polytope

Thanks for the replies thus far.Being able to buy from zzounds really helps,as they have a payment plan option.Unfortunately they don't carry some of the ones mentioned.

Anyone have experience with this one,or an opinion on how it might do for bass?/

Tech 21 bass boost chorus is a great pedal. The detune knob is honestly amazing, it gives you a delightfully thick chorusing sound without the wobble of a lot of chorus pedals.

I am among those who like the Bass Waterfall. It sounds exactly like your bass with the addition of chorus. No odd distortions or muddy loss of clarity. It replaced my TC SCF which was my previous favorite (gotta run the depth really high on those or the can sound sterile). Plus with JAM you can get a unique case:

I have one of the old original and legendary Arion stereo choruses and it sounds great on bass. I bought it new for the original price of $20, they go for a lot higher on eBay these days. I have ordered a joyo analog chorus for fun since I keep busting the knobs off the Arion.

After I ordered the joyo, I discovered allparts sells replacement factory knobs from Arion so I ordered 4 knobs too.

I've got the TC Corona on my main board and the Tech 21 Bass Boost Chorus on my smaller board. I love them both. If I had to choose just one I'd probably take the TC......or the Tech 21......
