best delay pedal in your opinion

I'm looking to try out the Echorec.

Love the Memory Lane Junior. Tap tempo. Easy to use. About 1000ms delay. Has a nice sound that falls between the analog and digital spectrum.

The TC Nova Repeater has made me completely delay-GAS-free. Does everything I want and does it really well!

My fav is the Danelectro Dan Echo. Gives a very vintage-like warm delay with variable speed and variable repeats, etc. I haven't used very many delay pedals so my point of reference is limited.

The downside: It's not small (about 1-1/2 time the size of a Boss pedal).
