Pretty heroic to put out Karen Carpenter and I agree, she had an amazing voice, gone too soon. I think I might have to Put Ella Fitzgerald at the top of my list, but there are just so many, Laura Nyro, Bonnie Raitt, of course Aretha, Adele.... It's like asking who is the best bassist? or Drummer- there isn't a best- and it ain't a competition !
