I have already posted a couple of my bass headstocks but here are two saturday night 'specials' I own and love. I appear not able to walk past a painted fender headstock. (tall brunettes too)

i like just about any symmetrical 2 + 2 with gotoh style tuners but zon, aria pro 2's and modulus get my vote.

the gibson style 2 + 2's are starting to catch my eye as of late.

Which I designed myself.

While it might look quite alright by it self, in context with the rest of the bass it belongs to it was admittedly slightly overdone, clumsily big and not really that well matched.
