Best headstock ever?

Those tuners on the roadster original? I have an '83 Roadstar 780, its the highend of that model. I believe 780 is the model number that year, same headstock but I have Ibanez branded tuners (probably the same ones as on your Musician), those are aftermarket?
These are internet photos. My 1981 Roadster has the big flat open tuners on a big old maple canoe paddle sized 2+2 headstock. It’s got 24 frets too, an ash body, and brass saddles. Massive bass but not a boat anchor like the 11+ pound “Studio” that was out at the time. Photo is correct.

I love the Ibanez EX headstock. So much that I used the design to when I made my 6 string bass. IMO it's nice and defined, but not so sharp to look like 80s metal like a Jackson, Dean, etc.

EDIT: Wow, I had no idea they made these. RD/EX headstock on an SR style body. Best of both worlds. Essentially what I was shooting for with my 6 string, though I incorporated my own touches.
