The following, close in time to when the album was recorded, but missing Frampton (Oh well) captured their live energy.

Well said. I never cared much for Frampton's solo stuff; but thought he was at his very best as a member of Humble Pie. Greg Ridley was awesome, and like you said, under-appreciated. Steve Marriott was simply amazing. One of the best live concerts I've ever seen was Humble Pie in the early '70s.

My 3 favorites from this album are "...Doctor"; their outstanding version of "Hallelujah"; and the rollicking good time fun of "Rolling Stone".

One of my personal favorites is a bit more recent than some. Not sure if there's any HIM fans here, but their Live DVD from the Orpheum in Los Angeles in 2007 is killer. It was also the first rock show I ever when to when I was young-er.
