+1 on AJ's #4311 Sadowsky. He knows I covet it something fierce. THe exotic woods are neat, but there's something so classic about that shape with the ebony fretboard w/no dots and the gorgeous spalted maple w/burst finish that just does it for me. If I win the lottery, the first call I'm making is to Roger to make me one just like AJs. :D

Its Sexy, Sleak, Comfortable and has one hell of a sound...

This is the one I helped CBH design and he is delighted.. the pictures do not do it justice I can tells you hehe..

Ahh... my old fretless AJ 6. I kick myself at least once a week for selling that bass. I'm hopeful that it will come back one of these days. That top was a killer!

At least I was smart enough not to sell this one:

Yes - it seemed like a good idea at the time. It wasn't getting played that much and I had just launched a business that I wanted to put the money into. Oh well.... I'm the last guy who should be complaing ;) I've certainly had my share of nice basses! :)

Yeah. It's been delayed enough that I hate to even say when it will be here. I had to wait a god awful long time for hardware. He should be building it up over this coming weekend and should ship :ninja: early next week. So I'm trying to tell myself 3 weeks so it isn't so bad!

I bet 4 months from now I'm still telling all but my closest musician friends not to touch it. ;) I'm glad to hear that you love yours that much! I already know I'm not letting this one go. If it plays well and I don't like the sound I get or my tonal preferences change.. I'll change pickups and preamp and whatever but it's not leaving my side!

I'll post a full review with sound clips, tons of picks and an in depth review after I've had it a few weeks and put it through the paces.

And now back to your regularly scheduled bass porn!
