Best looking jazz bass?

I like to see Fender antigua basses. But I don't see many of them. Not many bass players love them?

I like your green Warmoth Freakmagnet, and that orange Lakeland.
I am realy starting to like these odd colors more and more as I get older. Purple or yellow work for me too.
No more black and white for me.

If was going to do it all over, I'd look into ordering a custom G&L. You can pick woods, colors and everything and for what they are, they are a pretty decent price.

I had 3 "custom" G&L's years ago. If went with something other than my Roscoe it would be Fenderesque and used/cheap. If not gonna bank at least half the sale of my Roscoe it isn't worth selling as it's a fantastic bass.

That's pretty hawt- Can't seem to recall seeing any lipstick type pups (K. Armstrong?) in a J-Bass before- Good thinkin'!
I used to have a Skyline Schiff, and those pick-ups DELIVER!

There are millions of combinations of J basses and this thread could conceivably go on forever.

In working on my own DIY J, I have really come to appreciate the artistry of the J body. It really is a beauty with all the contours and such.

I have always appreciated the J body, but until actually owning and playing one (been a J user for about a year after being only a P player for a long time), I didn't truly understand why they're so awesome. I do now, though.
