This is a joke...right? Whatever. I've never seen a bad looking Jazz, but having block inlays put it near the bottom of the list for me.
Yea, in the picture you attached at post#1 it looks nice actuallyEach to their own. Also it doesn't have blocks? It is rosewood with white dots. Did you actually look at it or just decide you didn't like it?
Squier James Johnston Jazz Bass is my vote. It looks vintage enough for my liking without having any of the playability problems of an actual vintage bass. Btw I don't actually own one, just played a few of them.

First things first, my primary response was to your saying that your bass didn't have "...any of the playability problems of an actual vintage bass." Do you know what a pre-CBS Fender bass feels like? Mine doesn't have any of these playability issues you speak of.
As to whether or not I like your bass, apparently, I was looking at a different picture when I made my comments about block inlays. That, or you changed the picture. Either way, I never said that I didn't like your bass. I said exactly what you quoted: "...I've never seen a bad looking Jazz, but having block inlays put it near the bottom of the list for me. That means that it would only be near the bottom of the list of the best looking basses. Sorry for the confusion.
That's easy. I'd have to say my Ibanez SR1200:

It's my cheapest bass, at around 1000 bucks. But the thin neck makes it soooooo nice to play. A tad noisy for my taste whenever blending (I'd like to someday switch the Nordstrand Big Singles for Big Splits). But aesthetically I think it is only beat by the Lakland Marcus Orange.
I hate it when that happens.Your bass spawned an extra string in the middle of the photo session!
Sub 8 pound 3 bolt 75.

I designed them on this site: https://www.yajimastringworks.com/kisekae/CNV_PB/Kis90105_w1300.aspSub 8 lb.??? And a '75!? You sure your scale is correct?
