Best Pizza in the World

The question was not about the cheapest pizza,
Cheaper slice = cheaper ingredients. most places in NYC don't even use real cheese & yet the reputation does not suffer......
Pie in the Sky does take & bake as well. Just between you and me I treat my belly properly. You get what you pay for. Di Fara's pizza in Brooklyn (supposedly the best slice in town) is now $4.00 a slice.
Glad someone mentioned it. I didn't try the one in Santa Cruz, only Monterey, but their pizza is great. Maybe not the best in the world but probably the best I have had personally. I've been craving it while sitting out here in The Middle of Nowhere, Texas.

I agree, it's an unanswerable questions. Getting into a "thin vs. deep-dish" argument is silly, I love both when they're done well. I really can't say what the best thin-crust is, I haven't had enough NYC pizza to say. When I go there for the TB International GTG in August (see my sig), a friend is taking me to her favorite spot.
Yet another vote for Gino's for best deep dish pizza. Excellent ingredients, and so tasty. I rarely get meat on my pizza, because the pizza usually gets too greasy for me. But I make an exception for Gino's sausage. Heavenly.
Having had plenty of Giordano's and Gino's, I think Gino's wins hands down.
Because it makes an excellent topping? Have you never had a Sloppy Guiseppe from Pizza Express before? Terrible name, awesome pizza.

The BEST pizza i've ever had, I don't remember where it was.
All I know is that it was in Las Vegas, in New York, New York.
They have some...Homemade Pizza there. It was AMAZING!!
But, there's a 2 4 1 Pizza and Wings place across the street from Humber which is the best pizza I've had in Toronto.
And, in Niagara Falls, the Gino's Pizza on Lundy's lane is amazing.
All I know is that it was in Las Vegas, in New York, New York.

My pizza tonight was only fair. Tried a new place close by recommended by someone at work. Won't take their advice on food again.
Anthony's Pizzeria on Evans & Gilpin in Denver ... huge sizes, nice thin crispy crust, not too much or too little of any ingredient, legitimate New York pizza. Not the best I've ever had but there are only a few pizza places close to my college so I can't be picky.
That being said, if anybody's around the Waterville area in Maine, check out Grand Central Cafe; real brick oven, primo ingredients, nice chilled out artsy vibe.

I still remember the first great pizza I ever had. I was a junior in college & it was a thin crust with green pepper on it.
Homemade.
Other than that, Bruno's in South Bend Indiana has been my best pizza experience so far. It also had authentic decor, including a huge picture of the Pope. I remember eating there during a power failure -- it was my buddy's wedding rehearsal dinner. They had gas ovens, so they continued cooking and we ate by candlelight. At the end, they couldn't operate their cash register, so the groom's dad (an old construction boss) added up the bill in his head.

I live in the Pizza capital of the world, Brooklyn NY. Just about anywhere here has the best pizza you can find. Rumor has it it's in the water - why our bagels are the best too. 
My vote goes to L&B (Spumoni Gardens) for anyone's who knows it. There are lots of places though, one I forget the name of down by the Bklyn Bridge that's always got a line a half a block long just to get in. I never ate there because of that, but it's gotta be some slamming pizza.
As for the other side of this - Moscow has the absolute WORST pizza I've ever experienced in my life.

-Pinnochio's in Springfield, MA (where I live). It's by WNEC, but I don't know more details.
-Some place my grandparents usually go to. I don't know the name, but they're amazing.

Unless you've eaten at every pizza joint from Palermo Italy to Pasadena California there is not possible way anyone can answer this question.
I've eaten in pizza in both of those places. It's the in between that I have to work on.
I have had Gino's pizza though, and I thought it's reputation was well deserved. I've been to NYC twice but for some reason I only had pizza three times in the two visits.
