Best stands for basses

Not sure if this is the right thread for this question. If this has been discuses please let me know.

I'm looking to get a new stand for my bass and was wondering what the best stand for basses is. I have a regular guitar stand but my bass (a Squire Vintage Modified Jazz) doesn't sit well in it and I'm worried it's going to slip out of it. Any help would be great!

I use ProLine FretRest. The one with the rubber strap that closes off the neck area. I get them @ Guitar Center. I have a VM Jazz sitting in one right now...

Mine (Ultimate) are very similar in design but without the pull-down lock (has a strap that works fine).

These designs (any of the brands) are VERY stable to knock-overs and what I like is they fold into a small package. So all my main axes (not all my axes of them as that would be too expensive) have their own Ultimate stand where the hard case has been hollowed out so that each bass case comes with it's own stand, cord, strap, tools, batteries, strings etc. FOR THAT BASS!

I say this style is the best. The cheap style with the "U" holding up the bottom of the instrument don't fold up compact and have the stupid U thing sticking into everything. Hercules, ultimate, etc. are "best".

The Hercules stand is great! Especially when someone who hasn't seen one before tries to work it out... They fiddle around with the latch wondering why it doesn't open, then you go over and just grab the bass and laugh like a maniac. Or at least I do anyway.

+1, this is the perfect full-size stand.

I still haven't found a mini-stand I like but the search continues.

I use the 2 bass version. Great stand... Durable, works as intended and rock solid.

I use Hercules Wall Hangers that are the same concept. They are Wonderful...

The Hercules stand are great...except for one thing. They make me uncomfortable hanging a 4 string with the HipShot on them. I don't like the way the HipShot has to bear most of the weight of the bass. Deal killer for me.
