Heck yeah I did. I used to crack on her in science class because she had that big 80's hair and carried a huge purse with about $100 of hair products and a big ole can of aqua net she sprayed all over her head before every class. Even I knew that was stupid back when I was 12. I got in her head. THAT'S WHY she married Prince.

For as thin as she is, she doesn't look too tight or toned up. She could use a few protein shakes and a couple weeks in the gym. Oh well...can't all be Barbies.

Anyways...I think I might try the OLP first if I can't find the lavender pearl 'Ray. We'll see though. I'll keep ya's updated with pics.

I've always wanted a pink bass but every one of them I've come across has felt like it was made for 10 year old girls. I want something more professional, just painted pink. So it hit me today, buy a 'Ray, sand it down and spray it pink. Do it up with the white pearloid guard and watch 'em drool over it!

Of course, if there was an easier route aka EB offers that color already, then I'd take that for sure. But I haven't come across it on the site or on Google. I haven't been on the EB forums yet but will likely get on there in the near future.

Any suggestions, tips, pleas for me not to go through with it?

Not to rain on your parade, but stripping a bass and repainting is pretty spendy. I priced some refinishing work a while back, and it was substantially cheaper to just buy a new body and have it finished. Warmoth does a shell pink, although it may be paler than you want. You could rig it up with any electronics you want. Whole thing would probably be about the same price as a sting ray, before the refin job.

Let me tell you about the color pink. I lived in Germany in my middle school years. I ordered a trick BMX bike in the mid 80's and back then neon green, pink, orange, etc. were pretty cool. I got the lavender one, which was more like neon pink when I got it. I loved it when I first got it. It took months to get there but when it did I was the cool kid on the block. I rode it while all the kids watched me ride. One day I was in the park doing curb endos when this really hot girl that lived across the street came up to me. I thought this was my chance to finally hook up with the hottest girl in my school. She came up and said in a mocking, sarcastic voice, "What are you doing on a pink bike? You look like a homo!!" I was devastated for a few hours. You know who that girl was? Mayte Garcia. She became one of Prince's dancers and later married him. I never wore or rode anything pink again.
