Better sit down for this one...Stingray abuse

The pink bass I really want:

Hey why not call Warmoth and get the exact wood neck and pickup figuration you want? Ill bet they have like... 3 different pinks to choose from. I dont think they offer the stingray style body though. I agree that the Pino bass is a gorgeous color.
And that Guild Pilot on ebay looks sweet!

That lavender sparkle stingray OTOH makes me want to yak all over the place.

A pink shell pink Ray would be cool...I'd love one in that color. I've seen one too, it was old, and was faded to a salmon color.
Nothing wrong with the color, I rock one too. And people's mouths drop when they see how killer it looks in real life.

Oooooohhhhh ahhhhhhhh

What is that? Bunny? Never heard nor seen it but a pink Rick would be killer! HAHAHA

I love how this thread tests the masculinity of the TB society.

It's actually "Burny", a line of Fernandes instruments. That particular bass is part of their "Swanky Spider" line-up, which I think consists of just 4 instruments at the moment, with pink finish and special knobs, inlays, etc. One of them is a semi-hollow Les Paul-type guitar with a Bigsby, which is very similar to the guitar I have (Epiphone Les Paul Elite semi-hollow with added Bigsby).

Let me tell you about the color pink. I lived in Germany in my middle school years. I ordered a trick BMX bike in the mid 80's and back then neon green, pink, orange, etc. were pretty cool. I got the lavender one, which was more like neon pink when I got it. I loved it when I first got it. It took months to get there but when it did I was the cool kid on the block. I rode it while all the kids watched me ride. One day I was in the park doing curb endos when this really hot girl that lived across the street came up to me. I thought this was my chance to finally hook up with the hottest girl in my school. She came up and said in a mocking, sarcastic voice, "What are you doing on a pink bike? You look like a homo!!" I was devastated for a few hours. You know who that girl was? Mayte Garcia. She became one of Prince's dancers and later married him. I never wore or rode anything pink again.
Here's a pic of her now.

TRUE STORY!!!

Well, doesn't that make here a homo? She married Prince didn't she?

Agreed. Not to mention that that was perhaps her perspective at that age. If it's changed enough over time to such an extent as stated above, I'd say your perspective on pink could too. Pink is nothing more than a highlight of red.

Or maybe she felt so terrible for calling you a "homo" that she developed some type of need to correct that wrong by dating a feminist men. Perhaps you screwed her up more then she did to you.

Anyway I like pink fender strats.
