Suprisingly it's not that heavy. I can pick it up and carry it. Sound wise it really doesn't like a heavy bass sound. it's a pretty shallow cab Maybe around 12" or so. It has a good midrange tone. I've read up alot and found out that the stock Marsland speakers leave alot to be desired so It will be getting a new set of speakers in the near future. Don't get me wrong it's a pretty cool cab I like it alot.

This seems like a very appropriate place to ask this... I've seen a picture for an 8 x 12" cab out there, but it was German site, and even though my dad is German, I still can't read it. So I was wondering if anyone knew about or had links to some 8 x 12" cabs (does Ampeg make one?)?

And if there are any other monstrosities like that out there (like.. I don't know... 8 x 15" or 4 'x 15" or 2 x... 30"), that would be really awesome. I've fallen in love with the tone of big speakers, and I'm interested in investing in one big whopper of a stage amp.

I think that Invalid Link Removed might be able to help based on the pictures in their gallery section. Looks spendy though.

can I join?

Had a 2X15" Peavey with BWs (pretty heavy)

Then had a Mesa RoadReady 2X15" (WAY too heavy)

Now I have an SWR Goliath Sr. 6X10" (just right)

Nice selection you have had there!

Thanks...I will upload some more pics just as soon as I get a chance.
VERY power hungry cabs these are! I have had mine for about 6 months and have never been able to make it distort at all. You just cannot get a better sounding cab either. Literally everywhere I play I have people asking me about how I can get so much punch and volume.
Basson is very artist friendly as well. They really seem to care about the people that play their stuff!
