It's awful!
No really It's a really great head. I don't like alot of knobs and switches and all that. If I could make a head it would just have a volume and a tone knob. That's it. Either a head has a good sound to start with or it doesn't. I don't like to fiddle with knobs and really don't like knobs that you breath on and the sound changes dramatically. Trace did a really great job at keeping it simple and keeping with a vintagey vibe but with anything you would want out of a new tube head. Half power switch (sometimes 400w of tube is a little much) Two gain stages that you can footswitch (kinda like a clean / dirty) DI pre/post, Compressor which I usually don't like but I like the one on hear, The fuses and LEDs for each set of tubes ( so your not totally screwed if a tube goes in the middle of a set) And it sounds really really good. Oh yeah and it's not that bad to move. The Trace 810's are really sweet cabs too.
