I have never seen that one before! Beautiful, I bet it sounds sweet!

No 1 15's huh? How bout my Fitzmaurice designed T48.

I should have thought of that, I've modified the criteria to include sizable folded-horn cabs. Actually I think all folded-horn cabs are sizable! Nice cab!

Also, now that looks exactly like the sort of dog that would be guarding a wicked * cab like that! He looks possessed! All hail the folded Fitzmaurice cab!

Sign me up!

My poor lonely NV215 that will soon be not lonely :D

Oh yeah - you're in! Nice Berg...:bassist:

Does anyone know the price range of a decent Peavey 1820?

I may have a line on one loaded with the original BWs and I would like to know a fair jumping off point...

I figure that this is the right place to ask!

Thanks,
Ox.

I've seen them go very cheap when people just want to get rid of them, on the other hand they can go for 200-300 for a nice one...

Back with a pic!

Besides the Ampeg 810E, Acoustic 301, and Acoustic 406, also pictured are an Acoustic 104 6x10 and Ampeg V4 4x12, and a Bag End S15B-C. The BE is on top of an Eden D410T but it's turned sideways and you can't really see it.

 Holy hell! I can tell you don't live near me, Chuck, because I never hear any other basses than mine.

I wonder what the difference between the 1820s and 1810s is. I assume that the 1810 is an earlier version of the 1820?

Seems like all sorts of people have them. Now that I got a couple, I can see why!! :hyper: Got these on a whim at American Music for $350 because they looked so fuggin' cool! I tried them out and they sounded in better shape than they looked. Pretty metal, pretty clean, and pretty damn burly.

HEAVY bastards, though. Very good at drowning things out, which suits me just fine. :D Don't know what happened to the Peavey and BW logos, though. Wish that they were both on that one.

Wow now that's what I call a RIG!

Traded one in at the Fremont store in the early nineties. It was in my synth/sampling rig for quite awhile. Never regretted having it considering anything else that could do what it did at the time weighed the same or more.

Thanks!! :D But that's just about half of it. I wired that bass so that each pickup has its own output, creating two separate channels (I'm in the process of converting all of my basses to such a configuration). This way, I can hog another amp and another set of cabs that much easier!

My dream is to one day own some Mesa cabs. A couple 4x12s, 8x10s, 1200s. They have the coolest configurations and some of the neatest appointments on them. At least they are the most pleasing to my eyes and ears. However, I can't afford any yet, so these will have to do in the meantime ;)

Funny, man...that's the same store where I bought these. Right across the street from Herfy's Teriyaki and Hamburbers

The only issue is that they have such low impedance. That kinda took me off guard, so I found an amp that could handle a wide range of cabs, the 400+. I love the amp much more than the cabs that triggered my buying it...but the cabs still kick ass! :bassist:
