Ok I keep reading where people complain about the weight of big cabs, while some recall fondly their long lost big cabs, so here is a club for those of us who still have big cabs and love them!

Club motto - "Bass is supposed to be fat and heavy"

What cabs qualify for the 'Big Cabs Club' ? One cab that has 5 or more 10", 3 or more 12", 2 or more 15", 1 or more 18". If you have something really unusual but big (like 6 or more 8" or something, Henry cabs are big cabs) that's cool too! 1516's (15" + 2 - 8") qualify - those are big cabs. And if you know the weight, let us know. Please possess the cab right now to get a number, but if you had one in the past we would like to hear about it - you may be granted 'Honorary Membership' if you convince me you are truly sorry to have gotten rid of your big cab (and that you secretly desire a new one!)

If you have a 15" + anything you qualify!

No regular ole 410's or 115's, please. These are great cabs, but not 'Big Cabs' for the club...

However, some single driver folded-horns qualify as big cabs, I've seen single 10" folded cabs that were definitely BIG cabs! So if you have something UNUSUALLY BIG in a 410 #or 212 or 115, let us see it, you might get in the club!

With that I believe my Peavey 3620 qualifies as a 'Big Cab', also my Peavey 215D BW is a backup...

Now, RESPECT the 3620!! 53" H x 27" W x 17" D, 148 lbs

gotta a nice, new tolex, NV215, tho its my biggest cab, its sure not my heaviest. My friggin Eden XLT (410/210, serves as my 610 rig) cabs should qualify as big, cause those mothers' are so heavy they feel BIG.

I'll post pic asap.
Can I get a # meanwhile?

No pic at the moment but I have an Ampeg 810 from (I think) 1973. I was remembering it very fondly until tonight when I sat it on my toe accidentally. Only hurt for a few minutes, but it still sucked, so it's now on probation ;)
