I did a side-by-side comparison, but that was months ago. My Baer found a new home (rather quickly!) after I received the Flex. I neglected to mention that I'm not attenuating the mid drivers at all. I don't think the ML-112 could keep up in the mid-high range (with one driver vs. two) and be more boomy and not as articulate in the low end. Of course the dispersion wouldn't be the same. In this mode, the Flex is a Baer-killer (pun intended ;) ) IMHO.

BTW---my motivation in asking was not to diss Roger's cabs----I like and respect them so much that he motivated me to try to emulate his voicings as part of the Flex arsenal.

I hear you, brother. I also still have much respect for Roger and his fine 112. I played an AccuGroove Tri-112L for years with complete satisfaction until I tried the ML-112, which I liked even better. Onward and upward! :)

The MA112 and the MA115 are very different in sound than the Flex cabs. It depends on the sound and function you're looking for. The 6 cabs are also different in sound and function.

I am fortunate to have played this rig last night for about an hour - incredible on every level. The tone shaping options are really surprising.

For some reason when I refreshed the page the photo showed up vertical -- maybe you changed it?

That -- the Big E/Valkyrie pairing -- is one I've wondered about. There is a Valkyrie thread, but these are still rare animals.
