Q: How does your drummer hear you when the cab is in front of the riser like that?
Stage setups which put the drummer back in the corner are one of my pet peeves. IEM's can address that; but, I still don't like it. We've all done it. But, to me, the drummer should be mid stage, even if it means the vocalist has a little less to work with. Sorry for the derail. BTYRSS.
It's a corner, so it is even worse. Luckily the MAS109 is pretty good off-axis, so she didn't complain of not being able to hear me. There was no FOH for bass let alone IEMs which is often the case in my gigs. That's one reason I'm really picky about my rig as I know it will have to carry a room without being over-bearing.
