Yup. You got it. Mike suggests putting the 4-6 on a stand but I actually prefer it on the ground next to the 112. Sooooooo punchy. Amp is a markbass F1. Wish I had something with a little more power but this setup is doing just fine for now

Yep. Both are 8 ohms. The 46 breaks up a tiny bit earlier on the B string before the 112 does. But I've been able to get more than enough sound out of those two speakers to fill an outdoor stage. Why on earth anybody would book a band to play out side in dallas in February is beyond me though.
The clarity and punch in these cabinets is ridiculous. Our keyboard runs his Kronos and Moog through a markbass 1x12 as a stage monitor an he is throwing around quite a bit of low end. The bass cuts through that and the guitarist (using a 2x12) no problem. I was amazed the first night of tour when the opening band's bassist was using it, how clearly I could hear his bass from the stage in the back of the room. This particular setup is really punchy and mid focused. I spent some time playing out of the 115 at the NAMM show and that cab is a different animal. Not as punchy but much warmer and fuller in the low end with slightly less mid punch. I briefly used the 46 on its own to check it out and can tell it will be a very useful cabinet on its own as well.

How do you feel about about 4x6 vs 12? I really dig my 112 Eminence (non-bodai).

Placing an order for a Bodai today. Just have to decide between the 110 and the 112. The standard 112 w/eminence has been my fave so far, so i am leaning that direction for the Bodai as well. The only thing pulling me to the 110 would be having a pair and also using them for home stereo use......well, that and Tom and Mr Bears's take on the 110.

Cool. I haven't heard/read any reports from the gig field on these as yet. Hopefully you can remedy this dearth of information! :cool:

Waiting on some Bodai cabs and a Tantra for an upcoming Bass Musician Magazine review! You know I'll put this gear through the paces and get a real world sense of how the cabs and amp perform. To say I'm psyched and have high expectations is an understatement!

Remember that you can buy a great set of BigE stereo speakers from @lelandcrooks .
They do rock the house.

I'll report back. Haven't had a ton of time to test them against one another. I played with just the 112 last night and definitely missed the 46. I played out of the 46 on its own briefly at the beginning of the tour but not enough to have a definite comparison.
