Mike, I swear 6L6 are magic with your cabs. I brought them out today and blasted them with my newly acquired Peavey 120/120. It sounded amazing no matter what I did. It was articulate, punchy, and totally surrounded me no matter where I was in my very node-y basement. My TC118 resonates my entire house on B (~62 Hz) no matter what I do and the Big E just don't, no matter where I stand.

On the road right now, but I think my VB-2 is 6L6? Both my tube bass amps sound great through the 4x8. I really think these cabs are great hosts? for most amps. My Ampeg 7pro really sounds great through the 4x8. All tube is just mo bettah for old school ears.

Nice, looking forward to your thoughts on the 210 flex results. While the De-Monique was stellar through my 210 flex, I still preferred the more open top end and selectable mids of my Streamliner. That Demeter power section sure is a hammer though!! I know several guys found the Streamliner to be mushy and/or mid shy, but after some tube rolling it is still my favorite amp with the flex. Fat, warm, articulate, and plenty o power. Fantastic with some fuzz, phase, and overdrive as well.

Steve and I have been obsessing about the Mod xover and we've got it. What we wanted---to have the sub function as part of a 210Flex but have the option of using it as a sub with the 45. We figured it out. I'll be building the crossover in the next few days. And testing what we'll call the pressure regulator.
Cabs are done.

Radbass and I a/b'd with the pressure regulator (to make sure) on the 46 and it is a noticeable improvement. No down side.

I'm sure it will also be on the 110 but I'll know in a few days.

The 45----I'll know in a couple of days and post.
