Oh crud! That really stinks. I know you're doing what you can and they will be found!

He's pretty sure they'll be found too. That's why when he ordered his replacements from Scott today, he decided to not get Mesquite again. When the originals turn up, he doesn't want duplicates.

Thanks for the kind words and positive thoughts, everyone - I know Ben is the master of this sentiment, but "think positive."

7C-101 arrived yesterday! She is a beauty and soooo easy to play! I was only able to practice through headphones, but she sounds so sweet! I won't able to play through my full rig until the weekend, hopefully I can post pics then as well and become an official member!

Congrats - very cool. Send pics as soon as you can.

Hey Guys!
7S-024 arrived this past Saturday! I've been playing it ever since. I've already brought it out to a jam, practice, gig in Boston, and I'll be bringing it to another practice tonight.

It's definitely the best fitting and balancing bass that I've played! It feels like a part of me :D I love the bridge humbucker. I'll probably be using the humbucker soloed for the most part. The neck pickup has this warm, mellow, jazzy/bluesy sound to it and slightly less output than the humbucker. (For most of the songs that I play, the bright punch of the humbucker suits them better)

I'm still playing around with the varitone. The third position I've kinda taken a liking to. (Waves symbol for the Bbox users) The differences between the positions seem very subtle so I'll have to play with it a bit more to get ideas of where to use them. For now, I'm playing mostly in bypass.

I'm so glad to finally get it in my hands! :hyper:

Nice - you had the BBox varitone put in rather than the standard one? If so, you and I are the only ones with that varitone. It's sweeeeeeeet.

I also like the bbox symbols woodburned on it around the knob. Cool idea.

I thought Scott used the same varitone on the Bboxes as he does in the basses. So I guess I just have the standard varitone.

I got the idea to have Scott put the Bbox symbols around the varitone from looking at the Bboxes and thinking that the symbols would look cool on a bass. Adding a little flavor while keeping a standard Birdsong decoration.

Hey congrats HenfieldJ and Jeffski!

Mine ships on Monday! Woot!

Thanks slejhamer! And grats! Although I found that waiting for the FedEx man was much worse than waiting for the bass to be finished :smug:
