Hey, Man... what wood is that?
(Bout the only thing I do not know yet is what kinda wood I want... I want something with some character... I love yours...)

I mentioned to Scott when I placed the order that I wanted wood with a really nice grain pattern. He definitately picked awesome pieces for my bass
The inlay on Fiery Kim is beautiful and the red grain swirls on the bottom of the body really give a fire-like appearance complimenting the dragon very well. I'd love to see a pic of her next to your dragon bass when it's completed

........ no sadhanas are planned ..so far....but...wait till you see what Scott and I have planned for cortobass #120 !!!!!!!!!!

..and to clear up any confusion, the wood on that 5-string is *not* mesquite. Pecan and Mesquite are two very different woods, both VERY hard and both prone to being "laced with character" (in totally different ways). Mesquite is usually redder in color.
Gorgeous 5-string. If I liked 5ers, I'd be in line for one - not sure about the spacing. Having tried the 15mm, it was tight for me, but I felt like I could get used to it.

That 5 string is beautiful, great choice of wood. I'm so used to the metal pickup rings on birdsongs though. I wonder if they just don't have any that will fit humbuckers of that size.
