Double Bass Blast cult

Blast Cult will be ok. We may do some work in the future with them, but for now, my own clients must come first. But nobody should give up on Blast Cult just yet. Things are much improved and heading the right direction. Things just take more time than we often have.
"More time than we often have?" Tell that to Slap bass Lucas. He started this thread in 2016. "Going into the paint shop" in mid 2018. No indication that he's received his bass. I understand about letting paint dry thoroughly between coats, but this is ridiculous.
A man that takes someone's $$, doesn't communicate, doesn't deliver, and lies about it? That's his character. Sure, there can be "improvement" and things can be heading in the "right direction", but, at the end of the day, that's who he is, and it's difficult to change. Just my opinion, but anyone who does business with BC after reading this thread is a fool or an idiot.

Way old news dude. Slap bass Lucas has his bass a while ago. I was talking about my efforts and time with the company. First rhing that happened was taking care of old orders. Cheers.
I had no knowledge other than SBL's posts on this thread. I apologize for my misinformation. When was his bass delivered? Since we've run 27 pages with this thread, it would have been nice to have posted (by SBL, BC, or you) that the situation had been resolved.
Is there other information I'm not aware of that mitigates my other comments? If so, I'm more than happy to modify or delete my post.

I posted that it had been finished and shipped, a few months ago, on this thread. I do wish he had also, but I would not want to further bother him really, after all this. The first thing we did when I came onboard at Blast Cult was rectify old order problems, and I think they are all straightened out. My comment on time was a reference to known situation where I simply didn't have enough to give my clients the attention thwy deserve, and give Blast Cult theirs, too. All in all, aI think things are heading the right direction now, and Blast Cult UK is well under way. It is so good fresh start. No worries about ypur comment...this whole thing is confusing.

i can't say i'm not surprised. everybody can keep giving blast cult the benefit of the doubt if they want, i guess. but what a bunch of BS. i think the fact that Red Brown, who was apparently supposed to be the saviour for BC, has already jumped ship so soon is VERY telling. anybody that throws their money at one of these overpriced POS, is a complete idiot.
I also think that anytime someone drops major coin on any piece of gear it’s the “best thing ever” until it’s not.
You see it in almost every gear review. “This Brand X thing is expensive, but I’ve never sounded this good” or similar sentiments are all too common here. Objectivity seems to go down as the price tag goes up.
The BBE BMAX preamp I picked up used for $100 sounds every bit as great as my old Orange TB1000 I got for $900; it just has a different vibe and more tone shaping options.
I’m glad all who have one are pleased with it. When I got my Roadking in ‘03 it was full of wood shavings, the tail wire snapped as soon as I tuned it up, the magnetic pickup system had two failed pickups, the pegbox is super cramped so it’s a PITA to change strings, and the jagged edges of the chrome tailpiece kept breaking strings.
It looked pretty though.
I hear that JB has made improvements though, and I really wish him the best of luck. Maybe if I win the lotto I’ll buy another.

We want to apologise for any delays or lack of communication from our part in the past. As you can see these posts are old news, over 5 years ago.
Blast Cult went through a lot of business and personal tragedies during that time, and all those problems have been overcome and rectified long time ago.
The company has since then expanded and our production, customer services and deliveries are working smoothly.
We don’t want to go into details of what happened, but we have rebuilt our company, have recovered from some very dark times, we have been extremely resilient and have pulled through and we would love to gain your trust again.

Wow... I spent the eve reading all 27 pages of this thread. I’m exhausted. Started as I saw one locally for for sale and wanted to know more about it. I guess I do but I feel like I’m getting back from a journey!

$6950 for a plywood bass is kind of crazy. You could get one helluva carved instrument for that kind of coin. Just my $0.02
