I was encouraged to start a thread here about some of the stuff I have. So I'll start with the SVT's. I have been playing through these amps since the late 70's and wouldn't consider anything else. I have many more than are pictured here (and other stuff) but I thought it might be fun to let you guys know that there is someone out there that still goes through the trouble to actually USE these great amps.

You are my hero and my savior!!!!!!

The next time my wife complains that I have too much "stuff", I am going to refer her to these pictures.

That's an insane collection of SVT's. I once had an SVT-II Pro but sold it off. Then, I got an 810. Wish I had both at the same time!

I will be honest, I am not a huge Ampeg fan, but I am a fan of huge collections of things. Why so many seemingly identical amps? Not knocking the collection at all, just curious.

All i can say is the collection was unintentional in the beginning. I've been a touring musician most of my life so I would always be sure to have a spare head with me. 2 turned into 3, turned into 10+... At some point I became aware of the Blue Line value and so I started trolling for them wherever I would travel. Most of them have an interesting story. It's not just the SVT's though, I have other loves as well

That is a coffee stain from the original owner. He was a luthier at Robin Guitars back in the day and had the amp in his office for decades.

To the right of the flat back cabs is my "bus rig" (it fits easily under a bus in the bays). It is a very rare SVT-300 all tube amp in the lower rack and an SVP-Pro with a tuner and a power strip in the top. I recently had an offer from someone to buy that rig and I may very well sell it. It's unusual for me to sell anything. The three SVTs on the far right are (2) blue line 70's heads, a late 72' black line (transition magnavox) head, (2) mid 70's towel bar cabs and a VERY rare 78' Red tolex cab. I mentioned in an earlier response that there are 4 more that aren't pictured because they were in other locations at the time of the photo.

I believe I represent the consensus of members here on TB when I say it's time for an intervention.

You are obviously heading down the road to hoarding, and it would be in your best interest to alleviate the temptation!

Some of these gems need to hit the market to your fellow TB'ers. Now mind you, I'm only interested in your welfare.
This is for your own good!!!!
Try to pair it down to an even half dozen, and think of all the underprivileged bassists your gesture could help......poor musicians who have never had the opportunity to melt faces through the defacto Bassworld workhorse!!! Do it for the children!!!
Of course, you may contact me first to help you through this transitional phase. I'll help any way I can. Remember, I'm here for you!!!! Just want to see you do whats best for you........really....................like, really really!!!
