Hi again from uk, freezing cold here so i thought id do a bass vid a close up of suspicious minds (live version) i did get busy on it, but i really enjoyed doing it. Hope you like it.

bongo bass sound

Congrats! I had never heard a Bongo before. Did you have to mess with the eq a lot or is this a sound straight out of the bass?

Great job, my Bongo friend. BTW - the last couple of weeks ain't been sunburn weather in the South either. 
Like John, I've never played nor even seen a Bongo in person. Nice tone that I heard. Breakdown of settings for Bongo and amp would be interesting including amp and cab brand.

A very picky well seasoned pro friend of mine just picked one up and was blown away by it. Even the mighty Stingray!

ok the bass was plugged direct into a small soundcraft mixer then a line from that into my kodak zi8 hd camcorder........that was it
everything on the bass was set flat, no fx/compressor. I know it kind of jumps out of the track, but i guess i wanted to show the sound off. I did another vid of the same song on my you tube, less notes, and more bass rolloed on and to be honest people said they could not hear it, but it was there loud n clear just mixed in, and more bass added rather than set flat. I think the bongo is a beautiful bass, and the sound is fantastic. The slap sound is the bolox. The only thing i wished it was a five string.ill put another vid on, with the bass set the same. Thank you all for your comments, they are important!
