@MrDinsdale : Is it possible to wire-connect an Android-phone the Core and use ToneSudio ? The manual only mentions connecting to a computer. (Total 'connectivity-noob' here, I do edits on the Core, I have no Windows or Mac computer)

Gotta say I love being able to pop up tone studio on my phone or iPad so I’m not switching between it and logic when I’m trying to record etc.

It’s not the cleanest setup but the WIDI Jack hides away nicely underneath, I’ve got all the cables to do custom runs once I’m happy too.

Where did you get those big knobs for the Core?

I have been looking for a way to disable the 'foot-volume'-block. It cannot be done I think. You can set the 'foot-volume-minimal' to 100 though. Or, as a work around do not use the foot-vol block but instead use a fx block like 'distortion' and use the volume parameter as a volume controller.

I don’t believe this can be done. The work around would.

ahhh that makes more sense. Yeah I guess setting min volume to 100 would be the equivalent of disabling the block, certainly enough for my needs.

It looks like doing this would also kill the ability to have an external midi controller along with the widi box.

I am not 100% certain, but this device works on a lot of other Boss devices directly into the USB port for Bluetooth connectivity to the Android or iPhone/iPad apps "Boss Tone Studio for GT-1000"
and would leave the GT-1000 Core midi ports free for other things.
